Booooyyy The Covid Sports Blues

As everyone already knows, we are in the middle of a pandemic.  Because of this, there has been hardly any sports events happening.  While this is going on, football season approaches and I hope that somehow it can go forward in a safe way for the players and the fans.  But maaaannn has it been strange in the sports world during all of this.

The most frequent sport that I saw, besides reruns of old games, was the Corn Hole Championship.  I didn't even know that that was an actual serious thing going on!  Geez it's corn hole.  You toss bags into a little hole from a distance.  It is really fun to just watch the serious looks that these players are giving as they prepare to toss the bean bags into the corn holes.  Look at this image here:

Of course because of the pandemic, they are wearing those face masks and face shields.  And of course I was watching one and found this guy:

I feel like I might even take up playing professional corn hole if I'm allowed to wear Crocs.  Of course this event was even before the pandemic as you can see with the lack of face masks and social distancing.  Check out some corn hole when you can.  It is really something else.

I hope that football season can go on since it is my favorite sport.  There is only so much corn hole that you can take before you start to look like the guy in Crocs.
